1. Accepting these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MeeNook, a web app operated by Lizandra Luciano (“MeeNook”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account or using MeeNook, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use MeeNook.
2. Who can use MeeNook
You must be at least 13 years old to use MeeNook. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password secure and do not share your account.
- You are responsible for the activity that happens in your account.
- Tell us right away at thecraftydeveloper@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
When using MeeNook, you agree not to:
- Break any law or infringe anyone else's rights.
- Upload offensive, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or harassing content, including in names, profile photos, collections, or notes.
- Impersonate other people or harass other users.
- Try to access other users' data or get around security measures.
- Scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service, or access it with automated tools without permission.
- Use MeeNook to send spam or for unauthorized commercial purposes.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add to MeeNook, such as your library, collections, session records, characters, and profile photo.
You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display that content only as needed to run the service — for example, to show it to your friends or through share links you create. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload and share your content.
6. Third-party content and trademarks
Board game names, images, and descriptions may come from BoardGameGeek or other sources and belong to their respective owners. MeeNook is not affiliated with or endorsed by BoardGameGeek or any game publisher.
Dungeons & Dragons is a trademark of Wizards of the Coast. MeeNook's character tools are an unofficial fan tool.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
7. Our service
MeeNook's design, code, logo, and brand belong to Lizandra Luciano. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.
MeeNook is provided free of charge. We may add, change, or remove features at any time as the app evolves.
8. Donations
Donations are completely voluntary and processed by an external platform. They do not unlock extra features or create any obligation on our part, and they are non-refundable except where required by law or by the platform's own policies.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using MeeNook and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms or put the service or other users at risk, with notice when reasonable.
10. Disclaimer
MeeNook is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or that data will never be lost. We recommend exporting your library from time to time.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lizandra Luciano will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill resulting from your use of MeeNook.
Because MeeNook is free, our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are significant, we will update the effective date on this page and let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use MeeNook after the changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts of the Dominican Republic, unless the consumer protection laws of your country give you the right to go to your local courts.
